Peter Parros, Chairman of the Board
Mr. Parros has acting credits on stage, screen, and television and is a screenwriter. He is currently starring in The Haves and the Have Nots on the OWN network. Mr. Parros has performed in: As The World Turns, Knight Rider, One Life to Live, and The Family Man.
Deborah Brown, Vice Chairman of the Board
Ms. Brown holds a B.A. from Wellesly College. She is an accomplished professional with over 38 years of experience in information processing, help desk troubleshooting, and leadership positions in word processing centers at major law firms. Ms. Brown has supported Feeding America, Disabled Veterans, The Salvation Army, and several other charities. She feels there is an urgent need to support and empower senior citizens.
Donna Kinsler, Public Relations Outreach/Visibility Chairman/Recruiting Secretary
Ms. Kinsler graduated from the University of New Haven after majoring in criminal justice. Ms. Kinsler's passion is to empower and teach those who are vulnerable and less fortunate. This commitment is demonstrated by her support for Sparrow's Ministries in South Africa. She is the director of Cross Country Programs for More to Life, a non-profit organization with a mission to assist in the healing of human trafficking.
Lorriane Nakano, Public Relations Outreach
Ms. Nakano has been a publicity specialist, special events planner, publicist, and executive assistant in the entertainment industry and for non-profit organizations for over 35 years. Her ability to maximize media exposure was demonstrated when she was responsible for the promotion of Playboy magazine and the Playboy Jazz Festival.
Meg Fischgrund, Secretary/Treasurer/Executive Assistant
Ms. Fischgrund holds a B.S. Education in physical education from CCNY, and an M.S. Education in special education from Manhattan College, attended Cornell University, UNO, and the Clayton College of Natural Health. She has been an adaptive physical education teacher with the New York City Department of Education for 25 years, serving under-privileged children with health impairments and disabilities. Ms. Fischgrund has also been a special instruction ABA provider for infants and toddlers with early intervention agencies for 16 years.
